How to launch Outlook with a different account
We all know Microsoft Outlook only allows a single Microsoft Exchange account per windows profile. Of course, you can add additional mailboxes to an account, but that requires additional work and then you have to manually open the calendar. You can also open a mailbox through your existing running Outlook, IF, and only IF your user has permissions to access that mailbox. There may be reasons on why you would like to run outlook with another exchange account for reasons such as; setting up a moderated account, helping a user archive or even migrate mail from another source. Maybe you are a system administrator and need to do some snooping.
This method I am going to show you allows you to open another user’s Exchange account in Outlook without the need for having permissions or actually setting up the Outlook profile, but there are requirements.
1) You must already have an Exchange Outlook profile created on the machine you are using to open the other account.
2) You must have the login credentials of the Exchange account you would like to open.
For Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 on Windows XP,
1) Hold the shift key and right click your Outlook shortcut on the desktop.
2) Select Run As from the pop up menu.
3) In the next pop up window you can enter the credentials for the Exchange account you would like to open.
